A beautiful view: You are standing in the middle of the street, in front of the entrance to the Town Dock, looking back toward the curve that would go up the hill. The Sousa Bandshell, the PAL ball field, and all the trees that would eventually take up the left bank are decades away, and you can see across the inlet toward the Duck Pond (Baxter Pond). Sadly, Bradley's burned down in '61 or '62.
